Question by Sara: What kind of shrubs or bushes would be good to plant in front of a bay window?
Need some ideas of what to plant in the front of our house. We have a strip that runs the length of the house that we will be filling in with various shrubs and bushes. We have on big bay window and need something that will fit in front of it without going above the window.
We live in North Dakota. Would like to have perennials. Don’t plan on replanting each year. The window is maybe three feet off the ground.
Would like something with a little color sometime during the year.

How about some real information. Where do you live, what zone, how long is the planting area, how high is the bottom of the window, are you looking for perennials or will you be planting new every year? There is no way to give advice without some specific information.
